Dr. Anne Blackhurst will be with us on March 28th to keep us up-to-date on all the latest at MSUM.

Higher Education is one of the defining characteristics of Moorhead since 1885.

Moorhead became the site for a new normal school in Northwestern Minnesota after State Senator Solomon Comstock introduced a bill to the Minnesota State Legislature in 1885, declaring "…it would be a fine thing for the Red River Country and especially for Moorhead."

MSUM continues to be a "fine thing" for Moorhead and all of the Red River Valley. Dr. Blackhurst was named the 11th President of MSUM in 2014 and she is an active voice in Moorhead.

The primary goal of the 56560 Annual Celebration is to Celebrate Moorhead Businesses. We will be celebrating the various accomplishments that you have all achieved in the last 12 months. It may be that you met your sales goal, added a new customer base, increased your staff size, paid all your bills, retired, expanded, learned new technology, doubled your annual return, paid off your debt, stayed in business, improved your customer relations, won an award, sold more and earned more.

    2018 Speaker: Dan Meyer

Dan Meyer is a motivational speaker and entertainer who has appeared on America's Got Talent, Ripley's Believe it or Not and is the winner of 2007 lg Nobel Prize in Medicine at Harvard. Dan will motivate and inspire us with his cutting edge message of setting goals and accomplishing the impossible.

Throughout our evening we will be celebrating the accomplishments of Moorhead Businesses. We encourage you to consider using this event to introduce your staff or other business associates to all that the Moorhead Business Association is by inviting them to this event.

The 56560 Annual Celebration  takes place at the Courtyard by Marriott. While it is not a "black tie" event, is is an opportunity for our members and spouses to enjoy a high-class evening with dinner music, great friends, and a special time to be Moorhead Proud.

We realize that "Annual Meeting" congers up the idea of a boring business meeting. Our 56560 Annual Celebration will be anything but boring. We will be celebrating  your accomplishments. Dan Meyer will inspire us with his message of accomplishing the impossible and we will be setting the tone for future opportunity and growth in Moorhead.
