"If Only" Dawn Chisholm

Sometimes in tragedy we find our life’s purpose If only…how many times have you said that to yourself or others?

Sixteen years ago, Dawn Chisholm found herself saying those very words after receiving the news that her husband Bill had passed away in a grain bin accident while on the job. If only…Bill had been wearing a safety harness.

Dawn recalls knowing the very next day that someday she would make it her mission to share the importance of workplace safety. That mission is evolving into speaking about making other wise choices: don’t text and drive, don’t drink and drive and empowering others to speak up when they find themselves in other situations where they don’t feel safe. Because – if only… can impact your family and community forever.

Dawn has spoken at the ND Safety Council Annual Conference as well as numerous manufacturing and agricultural facilities, groups, churches and other businesses.
