What We Do

The West Central Regional Quality Council works to improve the quality of services and supports for people with disabilities in their communities.  https://www.qualitycouncilmn.org/west-central/

The council makes recommendations to state agencies, legislative leaders, and other key decision-makers regarding disability services and supports.  The council also provides disability awareness and resources that can help people live a good life.

We promote

  • inclusion
  • informed-decision making
  • person-centered practices
  • self-direction

The goal is to identify or enhance the quality of life for people who have disabilities.

Current Workgroups

  • Transition to Adulthood
  • Statewide Staffing Shortage

The West Central Regional Quality Council is a part of the Arc Minnesota.  There are 4 Councils in the state, which are funded through the Department of Human Services and the Minnesota legislature.

The Arc Minnesota is a statewide nonprofit organization that is working to co-create a welcoming world. We envision a world where all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are valued, respected, and thriving.
