Improving Lives—It’s What We Do
Who We Are
CCRI is a nonprofit organization that helps make life colorful for adults and children with disabilities.
What We Do
We support people with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities—as well as people struggling with mental illness, substance abuse disorder, and homelessness—by helping them:
When We Started
Launched in 1977 by a group of parents who wanted more for their children than institutionalized care, CCRI has grown from one home serving eight people into an agency serving more than 400 people through a variety of person-centered programs.
Where We’re Located
Based in Moorhead, Minn., we serve more than 400 clients and employ more than 500 team members in Clay and Wilkin counties.
Our Why
We believe everyone, regardless of circumstance, deserves a fulfilling life and place to call home.
How We Operate
Our mission is to enhance the lives and learning of people with disabilities, and we do this by following our guiding principles of being person-centered, team-oriented, and professional.
