Moorhead Business Association members,
We are saddened to learn of the resignation of Bill Schwandt, General Manager of Moorhead Public Service (MPS). For over 26 years, Bill has successfully managed MPS by “providing safe and reliable electricity and water to the community of Moorhead”. Bill was responsive to the needs of the Moorhead community and we appreciated his positive attitude. We are very grateful for his years of service and commitment to the success of MPS and wish him the best.
As we move forward, The Moorhead Business Association hopes we can make an efficient transition of leadership within MPS. To help identify and resolve any outstanding issues, the Moorhead Business Association would like to collaborate with city officials and initiate thoughtful discussions. As advocates for Moorhead, we are committed to the efforts to maintain MPS as a strong, respected, independent and viable entity.
