The New American Job Fair aims to connect qualified New Americans with good employment opportunities and to educate New Americans on best practices when searching for jobs in the United States, including interview techniques, professional attire, and resume structure.
We use a standardized pre-screening application to help direct jobseekers to employers for which they are best suited. We also use interpreters to assist with translation. Applicants are given the opportunity to attend pre-fair workshops to fill out their pre-screening applications in advance in order to expedite the interview process.
The cost to employers is $50.00, which covers the cost of the booth as well as sandwiches, cookies and coffee for company representatives.
